Screen Time

Screen Time is Apple’s collection of tools for viewing app and website activity and setting boundaries such as App Limits and Downtime.

Why the distinction matters

Clear terms help people choose a tool and setting that fits their actual need. Apple system features, a personal habit, and a clinical concern are not interchangeable. A definition can explain the role of a feature without promising an outcome or suggesting that a product diagnoses, treats, or controls more than it does.
