Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. License

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms and applicable App Store rules.

3. User Content

"User Content" includes journal entries, attachments, and any other content you create in the App. You retain ownership of your User Content. You are solely responsible for your User Content and for ensuring you have all necessary rights to store it on your device and, if you choose, in iCloud.

The App is designed so that your content stays on your device or in your personal iCloud account. No copy is sent to our servers, and we do not have access to your content.

4. iCloud

The App may use Apple iCloud to sync or back up your data if you enable it. iCloud is a service provided by Apple, and its use is subject to Apple’s terms and privacy policy. We do not control iCloud or have access to your iCloud data.

5. Acceptable Use

• Do not use the App for any unlawful purpose or to violate others’ rights.
• Do not attempt to access, tamper with, reverse engineer, or disrupt the App or related systems.
• Do not upload or store content that is illegal in your jurisdiction.

6. Third‑Party Services

The App does not integrate third‑party analytics, advertising, or other external services. No data leaves your device or iCloud as part of App functionality.

7. Purchases

If the App offers paid features or in‑app purchases, those transactions are processed by Apple via the App Store and are subject to Apple’s terms. We do not collect or store your payment information.

8. Changes to the App

We may update, suspend, or discontinue the App or any features at any time without liability. We may also update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error‑free or that data will be preserved without loss.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenues, arising from or related to your use of the App.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mark Gregan from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it and, if applicable, removing its data from iCloud.
